INTRODUCTION Poultry flocks are more vulnerable to climate change because birds can only tolerate narrow temperature ranges, 18-24[degrees]C, the thermo neutral zone for chicken (Weaver Jr., 2002). Climatic conditions including temperature, relative humidity and ventilation will influence production performance, health and product quality of poultry (Freeman, 1987; Lin et al., 2006; Yahav, 2009) particularly when the birds are reared in open sided poultry houses. In the 20th century, there was an increase of 0.65[degrees]C in the average global temperature and 0.2 to 0.3% increase of precipitation in the tropical region. Through mathematical models based on data recorded from oceans, atmosphere and biosphere has foreseen an increase of 1.4-5.8[degrees]C in global average temperature by the end of 21st century (IPCC, 2001).
